The REPMUS 2024 (Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping with Maritime Unmanned Systems) exercise, organized by the Portuguese Navy in partnership with NATO, took place on the Troia Peninsula in September. In its 14th edition, the initiative focused on demonstrations of cutting-edge maritime technologies and drones and brought together more than 2,000 participants from 30 countries, including navies, industry, academia, and various national and international organizations.
Altice Labs participated in the event on September 17th, as part of the DISCRETION project, with a live demonstration of a Quantum Key Distribution (QKD SDN) network in an operational environment. Two use cases were implemented on this network: key distribution between encryption machines and the distributed configuration and control of software-defined radio (SDR) equipment.
