José Bonnet, from the Technology and Innovation Coordination Direction, represented Altice Labs on the 21st June, by giving a lesson about DevOps at the KuVS’ summer school, organized by the University of Paderborn (Germany).
This year’s edition, the main focus of this annual event was SDN/NFV.
The invitation came in the context of the H2020 SONATA project in which Altice Labs, as a partner, uses DevOps in the development and operationalization of a SDN/NFV services platform.
DevOps is a concept introduced in 2008, closely linked to agile software development methodologies, which aims to accelerate the delivery of main features through the elimination of barriers between the development and operations teams, bring them together as a unified whole.
It’s important to refer that Altice Labs implements these types of methodologies, to reduce delivery times of new features/products and to improve the global quality of the produced software.
