Jorge Sousa, from Altice Labs’ Network and Platform Services department, took part in the “Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education” event at Lusófona University on February 22nd, where he shared his vision on “How artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping our future”.
During his presentation, Jorge Sousa addressed the evolution of AI in recent years, the significance and importance it has gained in our society and the new era of AI marked by ChatGPT. To complete the presentation, he introduced Altice Labs’ BOTSchool platform as an example of how artificial intelligence and conversational tools can work in real life, especially when applied to a use case where interactions between customers and companies need to be improved.
This session was attended by several participants, both online and in person, and aimed to discuss the growing importance of artificial intelligence in our daily lives, and more specifically in higher education, as well as the challenges and risks associated with the emergence of this technology.
