Altice Labs attended the world’s largest optical fiber conference: FTTH Conference 2023, which took place in Madrid, Spain, from April 18th to 20th.

This event brought together more than 100 exhibitors, 28 workshops, 3000 delegates and 200 expert speakers who shared knowledge about FTTH (Fiber to the Home) networks.

Altice Labs had the presence of André Carmo and José Durães from the Business Development and Support department and José Machado from the Network Systems Development department, in Madrid.

Carlos Bouça and João Teixeira from Altice Portugal, Paulo Neves from MEO and Cláudio Rodrigues from Altice Labs were also guest speakers in separate sessions. On the 18th, Cláudio Rodrigues gave a presentation on “Migration strategies”, which discussed various migration strategies from GPON to XGSPON and also analyzed the “green-field”, “brown-field” and “smooth transition” technological transition.

Altice Labs’ participation in the FTTH Conference 2023 was another excellent opportunity to present our products and solutions, to discuss and learn about the future of optical fibers in the world and to exchange experiences and opinions with key industry leaders.
