Altice Labs was at the Electrotechnical Days that were organized for the 6th time at FEUP (Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto). On the 13th of November it was possible to guarantee the presence in a Stand where Vitor Mirones (Network Systems Development) had the opportunity to demonstrate the technological capacity of Altice Labs in Fiber Optics and Wi-Fi. The GENIUS Programme and the Altice Labs’ projects for 2020 were also presented, in partnership with Inova-Ria.
From the 27th to 29th November, Altice Labs attended the ICEUBI2019 – International Congress on Engineering – “Engineering for Evolution”. This event is organized by UBI (Faculty of Engineering, University of Beira Interior), located in Covilhã. The event aimed to promote the contribution and concern of Engineering to human society and to foresee the collective future, ensuring contact between researchers and professionals from different areas of engineering and allowing the dissemination of their research, innovation and development in the various sectors of economic activity.
Altice Labs presented to Congress and UBI students the opportunities for Altice Labs’ 2020 projects in partnership with Inova – Ria.
To end the month, on the 28th November, the UAlg Online Careers Fair, a Virtual Fair was held at the University of Algarve (1st edition) with the participation of Altice Labs, in a virtual presentation about the company by Paulo Margaça. After this presentation, there was a chat where several students from Portugal and other European countries were able to ask their questions and express their interests according to the submitted Altice Labs’ projects for 2020 in partnership with Inova – Ria.
