From the 16th to 19th December, the IEEE ICMLA 2019 (18th IEEE International Conference on Machine Learning and Applications) was held in Boca Raton, Florida.

This conference is held annually and its goal is to disseminate information and applications of machine learning.

Ricardo Ângelo Filipe, from the Network and Platform Services department, and as part of his PhD, was present with an article, focusing on the theme of monitoring and performance in distributed architectures.

The article “Client-Side Monitoring of HTTP Clusters Using Machine Learning Techniques” focused on inferring problems in distributed infrastructures with limited customer observability using machine learning techniques.
