These were some of the questions raised at ErgoUX 2016 which took place on the March 10th in Lisbon. ErgoUx is an annual event organized by the Faculdade de Motricidade Humana of Lisbon and it explores themes such as ergonomy, usability and user experience.
On its 4th edition, the main focus was on the importance of UX and Usability as a way to improve business competitiveness.
Inês Oliveira, responsible for the Usability and User Experience team, was present as a speaker and representative of Altice Labs, and shared what has been done in the organization, the work accomplished by the Usability and UX team and pointed out the challenges and gains that come with it.
The sharing experience was constant and also part of the panel were Inês Gonçalves, Business & Service Designer of Celfocus, Arminda Guerra Lopes, Professor and HCI Investigator of Instituto Politécnico of Castelo Branco and Sandra Mouta, Coordinator of the “Perception, Interaction and Usability” Group of Centro de Computação Gráfica of Universidade do Minho.
