On October 3rd of 2024, the session “Ligando Mundos: os Dados, a Cibersegurança, o Passaporte Digital do Produto” was held, featuring the participation of notable figures such as Mário Campolargo, Secretary of State for Digitalization and Administrative Modernization, Alberto Palomo, Chief Strategy Officer of Gaia-X, and Mariano Blaya-Andreu, Director of Delivery at the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA).
In the context of this session, integrated into the Aveiro Tech Week and organized by the TICE.PT, a meeting was held with representatives from Gaia-X and IDSA, two international initiatives that promote the creation of common data spaces. More specifically, Gaia-X is an initiative that, based on European values, develops digital governance that can be applied to any set of cloud/edge technologies to achieve transparency, controllability, portability, and interoperability between data and services. Meanwhile, IDSA is a non-profit organization dedicated to establishing and promoting standards for data spaces/trusted environments where organizations can share data while maintaining full control over its use.
Filipe Cabral Pinto from the Innovation Strategy and Communication department at Altice Labs participated in the meeting held at the Fundação Eng.º António Pascoal, collaborating in discussions on innovation and digital strategies.
