Altice Labs attends INOVAÇÃO@UC 2024 and presents advances on the POWER project

INOVAÇÃO@UC 2024, an annual initiative organized by the University of Coimbra (UC), took place on September 25^th at the São Francisco Convent in Coimbra and featured the participation of Luis Cortesão from the Business and Operations Support Systems department at Altice Labs. He was part of the “Competitive Funding and Collaboration with Companies and Industry at UC” panel.

During the session, Luis Cortesão alongside Marília Curado, Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering of the UC, presented the key results of the POWER project, developed over the last four years.

This project involved a consortium between the University of Coimbra, the Instituto Pedro Nunes, and the Instituto de Telecomunicações, with the goal of evolving and repositioning Altice Labs’ portfolio in the market, fully aligning four transformational technological vectors: 5G Network, Edge/Cloud Computing, Data-Driven Technologies, and Artificial Intelligence.
