As part of the NextGen Mobility project, under the PRR Testbeds program, a smart pole from Omniflow was installed on the Altice Labs Campus in Aveiro on June 14, 2024, connected by 5G to the local testbed.

This pole integrates wind and photovoltaic energy generation, video analysis, air quality sensors, a Road Side Unit (RSU) from the Telecommunications Institute, and a charger for electric vehicles. The installation aims to support the implementation of use cases associated with intelligent mobility (ITS), to be conducted within the project. Additionally, the pole will be integrated with Altice Labs’ Live! platform, enhancing the capabilities of this technological ecosystem.
