In February, we received two school visits at the Altice Labs facilities in Aveiro. These visits aim to introduce students to a renowned company in the field of networks and communications, as well as provide them with different forms of learning; promote the teaching of science/technology outside of school in a business context; spark students’ interest in communication and show the applicability of the knowledge and skills from their technical courses.

On February 21st, we welcomed approximately 30 10th-grade students from the Computer Equipment Management Course at Escola Secundária de Felgueiras. After a brief institutional presentation about Altice Labs, the NETQ solution, a product from the NOSSIS family for customer problem management, was introduced. This was followed by a guided tour of the prototype development laboratory (TECNOCET), the climatic testing laboratory, and Future Labs. There was also time for a presentation on SmartAL and the immersive booth.

On the morning of February 28th, the same school brought about 20 11th-grade students from the Computer Systems Programming Management Course to visit our company. The students attended a presentation on the history and mission of Altice Labs and then visited some representative locations, including the prototype development laboratory (TECNOCET), the climatic testing laboratory, the Museum, and Future Labs. At the end, they also had the opportunity to visit the immersive booth located in the leisure room and enjoy this space for a few minutes.
