In November 2022, several strangers got together with a common mission: to collect essential goods to distribute to the homeless in Aveiro. Thus, Moliceiro Solidário was born, a group created on the social network Facebook that is currently helping around 40 people. Altice Labs decided to join this charitable cause and, for a month, organized a collection of goods.
Many employees contributed to this cause, and on July 13th, the collected items were delivered to Diogo Torres, one of the founders of Moliceiro Solidário. Diogo Torres expressed his gratitude for Altice Labs’ contribution and explained that the donated food is pre-cooked by the various volunteers and distributed weekly on the streets of Aveiro.
