
Fifteen Altice Labs employees got their hands dirty to learn how to make different types of bread. The workshop took place at the EFTA – Tourism Training School in Aveiro.
With the help of the Bakery/Pastry chef, Jorge Ferraz, the participants had the opportunity to discover multiple techniques and learn the secrets of bread step-by-step. What care should be taken with the temperature during production? How do you knead bread? How long should the dough rest? How do you add seeds? These and other questions were answered during the workshop by Jorge Ferraz, who has more than 40 years of experience in the field.
At the end, the employees couldn’t resist the warm bread, fresh out of the oven, that they had helped to bake, and there was also a tasting of various types of bread (bijou, baguette, pão d’avó and carrot bread).
