In February, Altice Labs hosted four school visits at its facilities, giving dozens of students the opportunity to learn about our company’s work in developing innovative products and services for the telecommunications and information technology market.

On the 8th, we received a visit from the José Estêvão High School, as part of the training activities of the 11th grade Science and Technology course. The visit began with an institutional presentation, followed by a demonstration of SmartHome and Television. There was also time to visit the prototype development laboratory, the climate testing laboratory and the museum, as well as a demonstration of the SmartAL product and the immersive cabin.

On February 17th, it was the time for a group of 11th and 12th grade students from the Computer Programmer course at the Oliveira de Frades School Group to visit our facilities. The students were able to attend an institutional presentation and see the Certification and Conformity Testing Laboratory, the Prototype Development Laboratory, the Museum and Future Labs.

On the morning of the 24th, we welcomed several Biomedical Engineering students from the University of Aveiro. After attending a presentation on the history and mission of Altice Labs, the students visited the Prototype Development Laboratory, the Certification and Compliance Test Laboratory and attended a presentation on SmartAL. Also on this day, in the afternoon, we received a visit from 11th grade students from the Professional Management Informatics course at Barcelinhos High School. The students learned more about the history of Altice Labs and watched a presentation on artificial intelligence and ChatGPT.
