Altice Labs’ participation in events at Universities / April 2022

University of Coimbra

V Feira de Emprego
Organized by the Students Group of the Physics Department of the University of Coimbra’s Academic Association, a virtual job fair took place on the 19th of April. The fair aimed to establish a bridge between students of the Physics Department and companies related to their areas in order to promote contact with the world of work. In this event, Altice Labs had the opportunity to make a presentation of the company and its projects to about fifty students.

Girls in ICT Day
In the scope of the 5th edition of the”Engineers for a Day” program, Altice Labs was present at the Engineering and Technology Labs event, on the 27th of April, at the Department of Computer Engineering of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra. This event brought together more than 500 secondary school students with the aim of promoting the technological area. The participation of Altice Labs was marked by 4 sessions throughout the day, led by Fernando Morgado, from Altice Labs’ Innovation and Technology Strategy department, in which it was possible to present the company and carry out demonstrations of technology/products.

University of Aveiro

1º ENEEC – Encontro Nacional de Estudantes de Engenharia Computacional
Altice Labs was present in this event organized by students from the Computational Engineering course of the University of Aveiro, on the 20th of April. It was possible not only to introduce Altice Labs to students of the area through an institutional presentation, but also to inform students about internship opportunities within the company.

University of Porto

FEUP Engineering Days 2022
Event organized by the Students Association of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto is a technology fair that aims to bring the community of the Faculty of Engineering of the U.Porto and the business community together. This year Altice Labs was represented in its Job Fair that took place on the 21st of April with the support of Pedro Duarte, a student of this university from the Electrical and Computer Engineering degree, who is doing his internship in Altice Labs’ Network and Platform Services department, and passed his testimony to the students who visited the booth.
