Kick off meetings of the Innovation Plan Projects (Polytechnic Institute of Bragança and Polytechnic Institute of Guarda)

On the 4^th October, a kick off meeting was held in Aveiro for two projects of the Altice Labs Innovation Plan, both expected to last six months.

The partners are the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança and the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda. The projects’ theme is cybersecurity of GPON and Wi-Fi networks and equipment developed by Altice Labs. While one project will focus on operator network security, another will focus on customer home network security.

Both Polytechnic Institutes were represented by the Teachers and Students who will work on the projects.

It is expected, on the one hand, to identify security vulnerabilities in each piece of equipment and, on the other, to define development and testing methodologies capable of significantly detect and mitigate risks associated with the identified vulnerabilities.
