The 5GZORRO virtual 3rd Plenary Meeting took place on the 16th of March, followed by two days of an intense and fruitful Internal Hackathon “From prototypes to a 1st 5GZORRO-core end-to-end demo”.
During these three days, more than 40 members of the consortium have joined to analyze the actual status of the project, results achieved and strategies for future improvement in all its axes, including technical tasks and activities that seek to promote the achievement and impact of 5GZORRO results. In addition, the partners also established the roadmap for each module, and drew up the plan for the 1st full demonstration of the 5GZORRO platforms.
The internal Hackathon was the first held by the consortium partners. The partners were divided into five teams, each focused on basic use cases and using the modules under development by the project. The Hackathon activities were organized in different development sprints, executing the first 5GZORRO component integrations and performing tests to verify their behavior.
Altice Labs played a key role during this 5GZORRO Hackathon by providing an initial version of a 5G enabled Identity and Permissions Management framework (Id&P). The 5G Id&P leverages DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) technologies and it is compliant with emerging W3C DID and W3C Verifiable Credentials. Furthermore, Altice Labs also provided a 5G Monitoring Data Aggregation module to be integrated into the 5GZORRO Data Lake.

5GZORRO project has the goal of developing envisaged solutions for zero-touch service, network and security management in multi-stakeholder environments (ubiquitous), making use of Smart contracts based on Distributed Ledgers Technologies (DLT) to implement required business agility.
The 5GZORRO consortium is formed by 13 partners from 7 European countries and funded by the European Commission under the 5G PPP Phase 3, Part 4: 5G Long Term Evolution programme.
