The Gartner Customer 360 Summit, an annual event sponsored by Gartner, will be held between 19 and 21 May in Florida. This event brings together key organizations with the purpose of publicizing new strategies for engagement and relationship with customer.
The Mobile CRM, implemented in Portugal Telecom between November 2011 and October 2013, is one of 12 finalists of this year’s Gartner CRM Excellence Award in the category of Customer Service Optimization.
This nomination highlights the strategic importance of the CRM project for Portugal Telecom, placing it as a top technology reference in customer relationships management and operational efficiency.
Paulo Carmo, from PT Inovação e Sistemas BSS area, explains that the project included the extension of the CRM One platform to the mobile segment, creating a convergent platform that contains all customers information from all PT business segments. “This project enables a single view of customers with improved service, cost reduction, management standardization and operational improvement”, he concludes.
The winners will be announced at a special session titled “Excellence in Action”, which will take place on May 19.
