Altice Labs was present from the 24th to 27th May at the Portugal Air Summit event, which took place at the Ponte de Sôr Municipal Aerodrome.

For this event, Altice Labs presented its GPON and CRAN (Flexicell) solutions, focusing on the integration of these two technologies in the creation of convergent fixed-mobile solutions.

Another highlight was the 5G, in line with the presentation made by the CTO in a panel of the event, with reference to the RDI activities underway in this area.

In order to sensitize visitors to the importance and relevance of 5G for the industrial area, Altice Labs dynamized the stand with a practical demonstration on the importance of low network latency and communications reliability, only achievable with the 5G, in the remote control of robots.

The various Altice Labs demonstrations were carried out by Carlos Parada and Francisco Fontes from the Technological Coordination and Innovation Direction and by Paulo Jesus from the Network Development Direction.
