In the context of the degree in Informatics Engineering at the University of Aveiro, on the subject “Professional and Social Aspects of Informatics Engineering“, Alberto Rocha, from the Technological Coordination and Innovation Direction of Altice Labs, made the presentation “Professional And Societal Aspects of the Informatics Engineering – an use case ” on the last 30th March.
This session had as its main objective to pass on to future graduates a professional experience of more than 25 years in Computer Engineering, not only from a technological perspective, but also on the approach of the ethical and deontological aspects of the exercise of the profession.
The communication focused on a societal approach, highlighting the role of Engineering in the development of the country and society, now that the DL 123/2015 requires an inscription in the Engineers Order to sign Engineering Acts.
