As a result of all the investment in communication and contacts with the academic world, Altice Labs has been receiving numerous requests for visits from schools that are truly interested in learning about the work developed at Altice Labs and, above all, the type of projects it can offer in terms of skills development in cutting-edge technologies.
On the 24th March, Altice Labs had the opportunity to receive a further 33 students and teachers from Valongo High School who visited the spaces that are usually included in the guided visits to Altice Labs: laboratories in the area of optics, testing and homologations, as well as a demonstration in the areas of IoT – Internet of Things and SmartAL – e-Care Services (monitoring of vital signs using the MEO application as a support).
We think that we are thus awakening motivation and a taste for innovation and technology in young people who are still going to university education, hoping to create professionals with the ambition to work in leading technology companies such as Altice Labs!
