Productized.it held a bootcamp, at Fábrica de Startups in Lisboa, and it was supported by MEO Bluestart and Altice Labs who supplied the equipment for the laboratories prepared exclusively for the event.

There were several workshops associated with the event about IoT (Internet of Things), Value Creation Wheel, 3D Print, Video Storytelling, User Research and Outsourcing Production.

More than 30 youngsters participated in this bootcamp and developed their projects which were presented during a Microsoft event, namely:

Inpack: Winners of the programme’s first phase, a bag with an internal mechanism that allows its expansion;

Harmolight: third place ex-aequo of the programme’s first phase, a light harmonized system;

NEO: third place ex-aequo of the programme’s first phase, a low cost 3D scanner;

staySafe: an emergency calls bracelet for high risk professions;

NESTO: a gas bottles scale;

Espectro: a multi-platform connected to an eye tracking external device to help autism diagnosis and treatment;

Monitonal: vital signs monitoring system for the identification of stressful situations, with spacial location.

According to Pedro Carvalho from CTI “this is the first event of “makers” supported by Altice Labs in partnership with MEO Bluestart. This type of event allows to identify startups with very interesting skills in the area of design and construction of complete products, with HW and SW components. This type of bootcamps can result in important partnerships to Altice Labs’ technological and product offer, namely in the areas of IoT and Smart Living.
