It will be held today at the Business Association of Beira Baixa, in Castelo Branco, the “Vehicles Networks in Future Societies” event which will discuss issues associated with technological change in the automotive world and its impact on building a more sustainable society.

This event takes place under the CarCoDe project – a QREN project associated to the European CarCoDe consortium, of which PT Innovation is a partner – and brings together several reference in the sector of information and technology.

During the day there will be a series of demonstrations of applications developed under the project, in particular City Parking and Remote Car Diagnostics whose main objective is to make driving more convenient and secure.

City Parking is a program that helps the driver to find parking. either in paid and free parks. There is already a partnership to carry out a pilot in parks associated with the Castelo Branco City Council.

In is turn, Remote Car Diagnostics enables the driver to have a real-time monitoring of the his car for early detection of failures, thereby reducing the impact.

PT Inovação, in addition to its involvement in the applications resulting from CarCoDe project, will also be present with demonstrations of its solutions in Managed Connectivity (Smart2M), eHealth (Medigraf) and eCare (SmartAL).
