FENGE'21 - Coimbra Engineering Fair      

Altice Labs was present at the 20th edition of the Coimbra Engineering Fair - FENGE'21, promoted by Coimbra's Engineering Institute, between the 18th and 20th of October. This is the largest engineering fair in the country organized solely by students and more than 60 companies participated.

This year the event was under the theme "Connected to the Future". Altice Labs presented the company and the technological projects it has underway, highlighting a lecture, led by João Bastos, from Altice Labs’ Technology and Innovation Strategy  department, on the theme "5G - New scenarios and applications". This participation took place in partnership with Inova-Ria - Association of Companies for an Innovation Network in Aveiro under the GENIUS Programme.

 

FCCN - Scientific Computing Days        

FCCN’s Scientific Computing Days 2021 brought together around 24 companies and more than 400 participants between the 19th and 21st of October, at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria.

These days are an annual meeting point for the different communities of managers and users of advanced computing platforms, communication and other digital services provided by the Foundation for Science and Technology.    

Altice Labs joined Altice Empresas to represent the Altice Group and present to a wide range of higher education teachers all partnership possibilities and available projects and of common interest for academia.

 

OnEJob2021 - European Online Job Fair for Graduates          

For the second time, Altice Labs was represented at the European Online Job Fair for Graduates - OnEJob2021, this year organized by UTAD – University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro and University of Vigo, using EURES (a European online recruitment platform).  

The event took place between the 28th and 29th of October and brought together more than 100 companies and many qualified candidates, mainly from the Iberian Peninsula but also from the rest of the world.

On this platform, Altice Labs made available all its projects for professional internships, as well as the open positions for PMOs. Around 40 applications were received, some of them resulting in interview proposals.
