Remote work: How to Teambuild? MindHunters Challenge

This was the challenge launched by Altice Labs to a group of Psychology students who, during 4 weeks (between the 15th of March and the 6th of April), were working to find creative answers that could be applied to teams in a real context. This Workshop called MindHunters was promoted by NEP - "Núcleo de Estudantes de Psicologia da Universidade de Aveiro" and brought together  16 students and 2 teams from Altice Labs to find answers to this challenge.

This initiative created an opportunity where, at the same time as technical learning was promoted in the area of Work and Organizational Psychology, it was possible to find proposals of models more adjusted to this new paradigm which is remote work.

From Altice Labs side, the participating teams were BotSchool, represented by Jorge Sousa from the Network and Platform Services department and Altaia Solution, represented by Luis Castro and Cristina João Pires from the Operations Support Systems department. The development of the work was accompanied by Gabriela Moura and Vera Santos from the Human Resources Department.

On the last day of the Workshop, the teams competing in the challenge presented their proposals in Pitch format and the winner, called "As Formosas", stood out for its objectivity, creativity, adherence to the proposed objectives and execution viability. All proposals will be converted into a portfolio of possibilities that will be available to the entire management team of Altice Labs so that they can be used whenever justified, with the support of Human Resources.
