Labor Gymnastics

Altice Labs proposes that its employees take a break from their workday with exercises that help fight poor body posture during the day, in a fun and relaxed way.

Thus, during the month of February, online classes were broadcasted by the instructor Joao Pedro from Tribo. Some of these classes were dedicated to parents and children, making the sessions very joyful and fun. A healthy mind in a healthy body, this is the motto to overcome these difficult days of confinement.

 

2nd Quiz - Portuguese Popular Culture

On 17th February, 17 colleagues took part in the 2nd Quiz on the theme "Portuguese Popular Culture". It was 30 minutes of relaxation and some healthy competition, where general knowledge about popular Portuguese culture was put to the test.

In this Quiz 3 colleagues won and will compete in a final that will gather the winners of each quiz edition, that is, it will be a grand finale to elect the best of this 1st Season of online Quizzes.

 

Let's talk about wine?

On the 18th of February an online chat about wine took place with a special participation of our colleagues Mário Rui Costa, from the Technology and Innovation Strategy department and Manuel Florêncio from the Operations Support Systems department.

It was a good moment to relax, share and socialize among Altice Labs employees, and an opportunity to ask questions to the experts and learn a lot about grape varieties, which are the best wines and where they can be acquired. During this session a raffle was held for 6 bottles of red and white wine, 3 Quinta do Perdigão Jaen 2013 and 3 Quinta do Perdigão Encruzado 2019, where 6 of the participants won a bottle.

 

Happy Hour with Craft Beer - BeerLabs 2

On the 24th of February another Happy Hour - Beer Labs took place, this time exclusively online. We offered two Beer Labs Craft Beers produced by our Brew masters Pedro Franco, Hélder Santana, Pedro Mónica, both from the Operations Support Systems department and José Miguel Freitas from the Network and Platform Systems department and we also offered peanuts to go along with the beers.

In this session that lasted 45 minutes with 17 participants, it was possible to ask all the questions/doubts about the beer production process to our producers, share some curiosities, it was a good moment of camaraderie in times of pandemic.
