Web mapping - build, save and share your own map

Context

It is intended to provide the Netwin solutions with the ability for users to build their own thematic visions of georeferenced maps, choosing the sources of information, its organization and forms of rendering, with the ability to record and share these maps.

Project objectives

The Netwin product through the Outside Plant module (OSP) provides a geographic information system (GIS) based on the paradigm web mapping using librarias and open source components, both client side (browser) and server-side. Allows the construction and georrefenciada form of visualization of infrastructure, equipment and cables of an external telecommunications network.
Today organizations have access to multiple data sources of various formats, whether internal (from different departments / areas, for example) or external, but do not have the tools to choose and integrate a GIS those that interest to a view specific to a particular context, and the ability to share this view.
This project aims to enable an organization to create maps from various sources of information to choose from, so you can build different thematic visions according to usage and context needs profiles. It is intended in an embedded solution paradigm "" create your own map "," maintaining the current philosophy of using open source software and respecting the OGC standards for services in this area.
