The development in the field of Internet of Things either in technology, research and/or innovation enhances the creation of a particularly dynamic ecosystem.
The increasing presence of intelligence in everydays life and everywhere (homes, business, cities) will require a ubiquitous integration using the best connectivity technologies, virtualization and applications (augmented reality). The implementation of an operational management center is the core of a city and it is the first step in the integration of a set of verticals, allowing all important data correlation leading to an increasingly intelligent city.
The development of an application leading to vertical's integration is therefore decisive in the context of a smart city.
Altice Labs has been engaged in IoT arena, specifically within the Smart Cities area where is providing consultancy services to MEO. With this internship the main activities are the design and implementation of a basic application allowing the integration of verticals. This application should be developed using the REST type architectures over Thingworx platform.
An application demonstration should also be prepared using for this purpose the integration of two vertical.
