The installation of complex distributed systems is a time consuming and error-prone task, when performed manually. Altice Labs incorporated on its software delivery procedures a set of rules which requires that each system / component is packaged so that it can be repeatedly installed in a deterministic way. However, in distributed architectures with a large number of systems / components is still necessary the development of automatic installation procedures, in order to reduce installation time and errors.
The aim of this project is to develop a mechanism that allows the automation of software installation in distributed architectures, using appropriate technologies as is the case of Ansible.
