API Management

Context

Service Delivery Broker (SDB) is a cloud-based and multi-tenant product, created and operated by PT. It provides all the required functionality needed for managing access control to both internal applications and emerging API-based third-party application ecosystems. At PT, SDB currently manages a catalog of 700 Web APIs and 200 applications (mobile, TV and Web).
SDB provides functionalities, enabled through configuration, such as:

• User and apps authentication.
• Resources access authorization.
• Access policies (ex. throttling).
• Data & Format Transformations.
• Content-based routing.
• Web caching.
• Load-balancing.
• Stateless workflows and API composition.

Project objectives

The project aims to implement the following capabilities in the actual SDB solution:

• Native support for REST/JSON.
• Support for asynchronous services.
• Automatic generation of SDB APIsrequest/response samples.
