Performance optimization - Second-Level Cache (L2) access to Relational BD

Context

Relational DB optimization and introduction of second-level cache (L2).

Project objectives

This project aims to analyze, study and implement an optimization on the current M2M Altice Labs solution backend DB access layer which could lead to a significant performance gain. It’s objective project to explore the second-level cache features of Hibernate ORM, or other similar mechanism. Additionally, the aim is the preparation of a report discriminative performance increase achieved for comparison with the currently existing solution.
