Project objectives

System/products development for fiber optics based technologies(GPON, FTTH, DWDM), radio (microwave) links and general high-speed design, are some of main challenges that telecom hardware design engineers face with. Continuous research and knowledge update about new technologies an network architectures, as well as existing ones, shall be never left behind. An hudge mass of knowledge (in many different areas like: analog/digital circuitry, microprocessors architecture or high-speed digital design) must be constantely checked/considered at each development of a telecom system built to lead worlwide market.

Key skills required

• Microcontrollers architecture and analog/digital electronics knowledge’s. Hardware design and test skills.
