Assurance Geoanalytics

Context

In a market increasingly competitive and highly competitive operators are increasingly concerned with the quality of service standards (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) ensuring satisfaction and customer loyalty. This requires that your support processes for operations, planning and optimization are very efficient, proactive features, integration and visibility to minimize outages, intervention times, detection of problems, troubleshooting and maximize operational efficiency.

Project objectives

With this project we intend to implement a georeferenced information module based on an analytical model capable of integrating various information relevant to the activities of the operating teams, supervision, planning and network optimization, related to the Service Assurance processes. Systems that contribute to the Assurance domain produce and manage various kinds of information among which are: Alarms (FM), TTKs, Work worders (WO), Maintenance Preventative (MP), Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Alarm performance, network configuration Parameters (CM), Diagnostics and active testing services, from monitoring systems (probes). This can be complemented with a set of additional layers such as weather, fire occurrences, geography, covering electrical discharge, access to sites, etc., as well as information from the network inventory (mobile network, fixed, etc. ) where the main features of the network elements are available for consultation.
This project is relevant to explore the state of the art associated with the representation of georeferenced information to ensure customization and flexibility of representation. In terms of modeling and persistence support technology is desirable to explore analytical BD engines such as column-driven databases, time-series, or others, since they support geospatial queries and response to application requirements.
