The term BigData refers to the group of technologies capable of handling with big volumes of different types of data with speed and cost not possible with traditional technologies. This set of technologies allows you to analyze and process any kind of digital information in batch or real time and is a critical tool for decision making.
The traditional Business Intelligence tools were designed to allow the user to navigate and present data and reports in a more easy way to be understood by humans. These tools have dificulties dealing with BigData, because now much information is non structured and the quantity and variety os information is much bigger, which leads to difficulties in using these tools.
Analyze and evaluate tools to access and explore information in BigData platforms. Evaluate the efficiency of use of these technologies and their integration with traditional BI tool used in products developed by Altice Labs.
