D. Dinis High School visit
09/04/2019 Study visit
On the 25th March, Altice Labs welcomed a group of 27 students from the 11th grade of the Professional Computing Course of D. Dinis High School in Lisbon, who had the opportunity to get to know some of the company's most emblematic places and projects.
This visit began with a presentation of the company's history, present and future, highlighting the many products developed by Altice Labs. This presentation was followed by a campus guided tour, where the students were divided into two groups, to see important milestones and the latest technological developments. The students were always interacting and expressing interest and curiosity for what was being exposed to them.
These students were accompanied by two teachers who were also very satisfied with the visit.
Professor Paula Laranjeira said: "we liked it very much and were very well received by all of you. The students, and myself, were impressed by the very small size of a resistance we saw in TecnoCet, compared to the resistances normally used in school! And we also really enjoyed the museum and Future Labs. It was a very nice day, and for these students who have such a tight schedule, being able to leave school from time to time is very nice and is a different way of learning that has a positive effect on them".
